The more complex, but better way to view and edit texture files! Having some previous knowledge is helpful, but not required!

Obtaining the Texture File
1.
Download or locate the 2.7.1 version of the Pixelmon Generations Mod jar file. You can download this version from the #downloads channel of the Official Pixelmon Generations Discord.
WARNING: 2.7.1 is required in order to view the model in Blender. Any newer version of the mod will have a different and compressed version of the model files, making them not possible to be opened in Blender without special tools. If a model and texture file has been updated since 2.7.1, you will not be able to use this tutorial and must use the simple tutorial.
